talking on the phone

I just got off the phone with my hubby after our usual lunchtime catch-up session and, let's face it, nothing much to say. You'd think that after a whole morning of tying up "the loose end" or cleaning the house and watching the baby we'd have something to report. Or have thought up something intelligent or at least interesting or amusing to share. Or that we'd be so starved for meaningful adult conversation that we wouldn't be able to stop blabbing. Nope. Not much to say. It must be that we've reached the next level. There's no need to speak anymore. We just know....

Addison's Many Moods

Seeing as how it's too cold to visit the outdoors and I haven't any particularly profound philosophical depths to plumb, the inaugural post will feature our adventures in parenthood. Addison went to the doc today and weighed in at a strapping 10 lbs 5 oz, well on his way to reaching his New Year's Resolution: 22 lbs. He's also growing like a weed and outgrowing all the clothes he received from his considerable fan-base. Without further ado, I present the emotional range that my son exhibits. You may venture a guess as to which he displays most often (Smiling of course...)
