Primary Program Debut

This past Sunday Addison got to participate in his very first Primary Program at church. The ladies who wrote the program had all the teachers ask their kids questions to come up with the parts for it. Addison came up with this: In case you couldn't quite catch it due to the tv remote stuffed in his mouth, he said, "I know He answers my prayers because He helped me learn my numbers." He did a great job! Nate and I are so proud!

Odds and Ends

Most of our trees have officially dumped their leaves. The kids and I filled our little wading pool with them and hauled it to the garden several times. We got apple trees! L is a Honeycrisp and R is Golden Delicious. Yum! A new do. The bangs drive me slightly nuts, but I love the rest of it. We've had a couple snow days and the kids insisted on a snowman first thing. Nate cleverly accessorized it for us. The hat is a butternut squash, the eyes are cantaloupe, the nose is a helicopter from a maple tree, and the mouth is a dried out ear of corn.  Bryn's not quite sure about all that. Addison went to the dentist last week and was thrilled when he found a magnifying glass in the prize drawer. He's been doing detective work and science ever since.  And finally, these early sundowns are making us a little stir-crazy. This is pretty much a nightly ritual these days.

And the weather will be (hopefully) warming up about the time our little one comes, which makes things easier - no fear of scary letters like RSV and H1N1 (okay, I guess 1 is a number), and much less stuff to haul around clothing-wise for myself and all the kids. I thought I'd just answer a few of the most frequently-asked questions I've been getting, so here goes: 1. How far along are you?       Just over 15 weeks 2. How are you feeling?      Better now that we're in trimester #2. Throughout the first trimester I was nauseous in the mornings and bloated to the max for the rest of the day. Delightful. I've been pretty tired, but that's getting better too. For ...
