First 8 months, now this! Sniff...

Addison loves to sing. Frequently he can be found walking around singing, "The wise man built his house upon the rock" or "I wub Daddy he wubs me, I wub Binny he wubs me, I wub Zinzy he wubs me, I wub Ammer he wubs me...(repeat until he runs out of family members)." He got some inspiration for a new spin on an old favorite this morning at breakfast. Translation: "The foolish man built his house on the bagel." We both laughed for a long time after that one. Now if he would only eat it as well as he sings about it...

This little girly of ours is growing up a little too fast for my tastes (except for the lack of sleeping through the night still). She's very mellow and sweet, especially to her big brother. She's hitting milestones faster than we can keep up. A few are: sitting up, using a high chair and walker, her first little pigtail (we call it a sprout), and of course, Daddy's favorite, The Sippy Cup. I took great pleasure in picking out the pinky-purplist one I could find. And it's really handy that her pink blankie (the one from Aunt Shauna) is guaranteed to put her to sleep when it's naptime. She really loves it.

Crocuses Tulips Daffodils Irises Athena comes out of hibernation in the shed to bask in the sun. Really cute boy digs in the dirt with no coat on. We might just survive.
