Road trip
Addison and Mom took a little road trip down to St. George with Grandma W on the Monday before Easter. Addison did great on the car ride down (we only had to change his outfit once!)
We spent the week hanging out with and being spoiled by the in-laws and admiring our tiny brand new niece, Sonnet, who was born on St. Patrick's Day. What a cute kid! She was 5 1/2 weeks early and only weighed five pounds, so Addison looked like a giant in comparison.
Other than the good company, the best thing about St. George was the weather!!! Addison didn't wear a onesie the whole time, and we had to have Nate bring down more short sleeved shirts when he came that weekend. Addison and I went on a walk every day, and, although he'd start out fully clothed, by the time we got back he usually wasn't wearing any socks or pants because it was so warm. We got to go play in the yard a little bit too, which was quite a novelty for us. Here's Addison sunning himself with his cool new toy in the backyard.
We both missed Nate a ton and were really glad when he came on Friday night. He and I got to go freeze our fannies off in Zion on Saturday morning. Easter was nice and laid back. We went to church, hung out with the fam, and even got a nap. Addison was definitely a stud in his new shirt and SHOES!!!
