A Fun Midday Outing

Addison and I went on a little outing to the gas station, the park, and the store to get cheese today. Every single stop was fabulous. Here's why:

A nice old lady gave us a free ice cream cone when we were getting cheese!

    YES!!! $3.99 or below gas works for me. Cute little Addison getting big fast!
    Okay, in response to Nate's comment on my blog. I was surprised that he would be reading Twilight and New Moon. I even admit to raising my eyebrows. And, Nate, if you know what's good for you and your marriage, you will just give in and buy Breaking Dawn for your sweet wife. Michelle, if you ever want to talk Edward or Twilight, you know my blog address. :)

We had one more adventure last Saturday that Nate was too embarrassed to write about. Before our hiking excursion we went to Liberty Park to feed the ducks. Addison had a great time in his stroller soaking up some rays and watching the lake and the people and the birds. We tried hard to avoid the seagulls, which are gross if you've never had much contact with them, and to get to the two ducks that were around, but competition for that bread was pretty fierce, so Nate decided to make the geese work for it (since they're the only ones that would). The documented evidence makes me wonder who was working harder, though, and who was more scared. Must be those ferocious beaks or the powerful weapons they like to call webbed feet. Notice Addison's feet in the video where you can see them.

Golden Parenting Moments

Several weeks ago, Nate woke up feeling gung-ho on a Saturday morning and decided we were going on a family sledding trip. I was a grump, but went along with it anyway. By the time we found a decent place and got a good trail worn down the kids got snow in their drawers and it was time to go. We had a great time, obviously. Poor Nate! .
