Haircuts and a Big Boy

Well we've gotten brave around here. Over the break, Nate let me cut his hair! I think I was more scared than he was, but it actually turned out decent-looking.
Yes, we're in our jammies. And we're scared.
Yikes. A bowl cut.
After. Not bad, eh?

So this week I bought some clippers from WalMart for thirteen bucks and became the family hairdresser.

Before - notice the dried milk in his bangs from breakfast.
Also before - mad scientist hair in the back.
After. He looks like a big boy that just gained 20 pounds. And no more milk bangs!

To add to the big boy-ness, Addison did this during playtime today. He makes the noises and everything!

  1. Nice job! I've been cutting Chris' hair since we got married since it saves a fair chunk of change. I let Chris cut my hair once though and it was not good!

  4. I'm my family hairdresser too. I don't like to because I hate cleaning up all of that hair, but oh well. It saves money, and I can't imagine taking Jonathan to someone else for the 5 haircuts he's had so far. "Hi, here's my 2 month old, will you cut his hair?"

  5. Don't they learn so fast?
Zorn makes me cut his hair, and he's had some pretty bad haircuts! You did a good job!
