Conference Weekend

This weekend was awesome. We spent Friday night and Saturday in Provo with Shauna, Doug, and Beck for our church's general conference. We watched both sessions, ate ourselves sick (way too many fruit snacks), got introduced to the tv show House, and just had a general chill session. And then we drove home and still had another day before Nate had to go back to work. And Sunday was at least 60 degrees. Honestly, does it get any better than that?

In between sessions we had a blast with a bag of moldy bread and BYU's duck pond.
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: Sunday marked 20 weeks of being pregnant. AKA halfway to the finish line!

Nate the daredevil

We had one more adventure last Saturday that Nate was too embarrassed to write about. Before our hiking excursion we went to Liberty Park to feed the ducks. Addison had a great time in his stroller soaking up some rays and watching the lake and the people and the birds. We tried hard to avoid the seagulls, which are gross if you've never had much contact with them, and to get to the two ducks that were around, but competition for that bread was pretty fierce, so Nate decided to make the geese work for it (since they're the only ones that would). The documented evidence makes me wonder who was working harder, though, and who was more scared. Must be those ferocious beaks or the powerful weapons they like to call webbed feet. Notice Addison's feet in the video where you can see them.

Golden Parenting Moments

Several weeks ago, Nate woke up feeling gung-ho on a Saturday morning and decided we were going on a family sledding trip. I was a grump, but went along with it anyway. By the time we found a decent place and got a good trail worn down the kids got snow in their drawers and it was time to go. We had a great time, obviously. Poor Nate! .
