Georgia Visit

At the end of April, the kids and I went to good ol' GA for my sister Rebecca's wedding. It was a fabulous time. We had so much fun it made me want to move there. The only thing that would have made it better was if Daddy could've come along.

Enjoy this (extremely) copious photographic evidence.

Add was SO excited to fly on the plane.

Overall, the flights weren't too bad, thanks to Addison's Thomas the Train backpack (I love you, DI) and the dvd player Grandma loaned us. The most interesting parts were potty breaks. Lemme tell you, those airplane bathrooms were really not meant to accommodate three at a time.

A long day of flying coupled with about a dozen very friendly aunts and uncles equaled a meltdown for Add upon arrival at the homestead. I tried everything to calm him down, and finally took him down to our room and showed him his "bed." He was miraculously fine after that.
Cousins! Juliann and Jarett.
All the grandchildren
We had so much fun outside!
Add feeding the cows with Grammie
I don't know who's more perplexed, Bryn or the chickensBest video of the trip, hands down.

Addison had the BEST time with Aunt Kaylyn and Uncle Ryan. And he talked about Chipper (the dog) for weeks before and after the trip.

We have GOT to get a sandbox. Addison was in that thing for hours.

Shauna and I snuck to the craft room where she helped me make an adorable dress for Bryn. Brynny's new dress from Aunt Shauna. SO stinkin' cute!Addison loved Ryan and Kaylyn's room. Especially Kaylyn's pink kitchen.

Bride-to-be with Bryn
We had a sweet bachelorette party for Beck. All the siblings dressed her up in a tutu, heels, etc. and blasted the local spanish radio station with the windows down all the way to Ingles (where she used to work) to pick out yummy ice cream to share.Dressed for the reception - I made Bryn's dress!
I love it. Uncle Camden, Jarett, Uncle Ryan, and Addison
The trip could not have been complete without a rockin' dance party, courtesy of Amber and Camden's Wii game. In order to embarrass everyone equally (and because I think they're hilarious), I am posting several videos to make sure each participant has their moves documented for posterity.
He obviously gets his moves from his mother.

Everybody participated.
And I mean everybody.

  5. "We have GOT to get a sandbox. Addison was in that thing for hours."

And the sand will be in Addison for hours as well. In his toes, and in his clothes, and in his hair...

  6. Fun! I miss your family! If Addison ever wants a dog, we have one he can borrow. He's very house trained (terrified of punishment), kid friendly, and fun. We'll even provide the food. :)
