Thanksgiving, by the way.
Yes, it's January, but Thanksgiving was so great that I couldn't not blog about it. My sister Megan, who is at BYU-Idaho came down the week before Thanksgiving and hung out with us. We had a great time hanging out, eating a thousand cookies per day, and watching "the blizzard of the century" (which wasn't very impressive) roll in from the comfort of our study floor.
The day before Thanksgiving we all headed down to St. George to be with Nate's family. Thanksgiving morning, Meg, Nate, Grandpa and I ran our own personal 5K to counteract all the food we were preparing to intake. We wore matching sweatbands because we're awesome like that, and froze our buns off pretty much the whole time.
Then, under Grandma's direction, we all pitched in to rustle up a feast fit for people who are serious about their food. And man was it good!

While we were there, Megan had to go through initiation into the "I'm cool because I've been rappelling" club. We went to Red Cliffs and she was definitely a natural. Nate, of course, was an excellent coach, as always.
Our rugged and handsome coach.
The newbie.
The seasoned veteran who was really scared anyway.
Grandpa and Addison joined us afterwards for some hiking and hide-and-go seek in the desert. It took me back to the days of playing hide-and-seek with my family growing up.
Bryn had a red-letter day in St. George - her first big
-girl pig-tails! Heart-wrenchingly cute, if you ask me.
We also got to help put up some Christmas decorations to ring in the season. We tried really hard to get a picture of Addison by the snowman that waves, but he was afraid of it because he thought it was trying to hit him in the head.
Matching headbands--definitely the right way to go :)
