A few weeks ago Nate was kind enough to take Add home teaching and to his meeting following so that I could just chill with Brynny for awhile. We went for a walk where she actually got to walk - not just sit in the stroller while we chased Addison on his trike. It was really fun to play and have ice cream together, just the two of us.

These two love each other.

    Oh man, I especially love that last picture. They are so cute! And I swear that Brynn (did I spell that right?) has grown exponentially in the last couple of months. When did she become huge??

    Hahaha I love the Conference with the Q-tip picture. So funny. I also love that you and Bryn got to have a little bit of mommy-daughter time. You guys are great!

Nate the daredevil

We had one more adventure last Saturday that Nate was too embarrassed to write about. Before our hiking excursion we went to Liberty Park to feed the ducks. Addison had a great time in his stroller soaking up some rays and watching the lake and the people and the birds. We tried hard to avoid the seagulls, which are gross if you've never had much contact with them, and to get to the two ducks that were around, but competition for that bread was pretty fierce, so Nate decided to make the geese work for it (since they're the only ones that would). The documented evidence makes me wonder who was working harder, though, and who was more scared. Must be those ferocious beaks or the powerful weapons they like to call webbed feet. Notice Addison's feet in the video where you can see them.

Golden Parenting Moments

Several weeks ago, Nate woke up feeling gung-ho on a Saturday morning and decided we were going on a family sledding trip. I was a grump, but went along with it anyway. By the time we found a decent place and got a good trail worn down the kids got snow in their drawers and it was time to go. We had a great time, obviously. Poor Nate! .
