Spring is Springing!
Spring was always my very favorite season growing up. There's something magical about things turning green and coming to life. It's not quite the same around these parts, because one day it'll be 60 degrees and then it'll snow for a week, but I'll still take it. Especially on days like today, which was one of the 60 degree ones.
You may or may not recall that when we moved into our house our front planter was like a jungle. We have worked our fannies off on it since then, and although it's still got a way to go, I am beginning to adore it. Our crocuses give me happy feelings in my heart every time I walk up to check the mail. And sometimes I peek out the front door just to make sure they're still there, looking cheerful and reminding me that it really will be warm all the time before too long. And to make it even better, the pansies in our pots by the door survived the winter! I'm excited for lots more things to start blooming over the next few months, but until then, here are some happy thoughts.
I love the little stepping stones! They look so cute!
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is going to be really beautiful when it's outlined with tulips outlined with daffodils. (Sigh...)
