A Smattering

Here's a sampler of our activities, big events, and cuteness of late.

Eggs. Lots of 'em. 
Nate ran over Bryn's trike that she left in the driveway several months ago.

Our friend Sallie found her a new one and a helmet at a yard sale! Seriously, I have the best friends. Bryn is thrilled and has officially got pedaling figured out.

Addison adores Leah. Several of his favorite toys are only allowed to be touched by the two of them.

Birthday party for our family! Six years old this month!


Addison started soccer. Go Blue Lightning!

These two do just about everything together. The latest is going into space. My heart is melting.

Megan and Sam came down to visit and spent the better part of an afternoon playing with Barbies.

Leah's growing up so fast and is still the sweetest baby around .

Nate the daredevil

We had one more adventure last Saturday that Nate was too embarrassed to write about. Before our hiking excursion we went to Liberty Park to feed the ducks. Addison had a great time in his stroller soaking up some rays and watching the lake and the people and the birds. We tried hard to avoid the seagulls, which are gross if you've never had much contact with them, and to get to the two ducks that were around, but competition for that bread was pretty fierce, so Nate decided to make the geese work for it (since they're the only ones that would). The documented evidence makes me wonder who was working harder, though, and who was more scared. Must be those ferocious beaks or the powerful weapons they like to call webbed feet. Notice Addison's feet in the video where you can see them.

Golden Parenting Moments

Several weeks ago, Nate woke up feeling gung-ho on a Saturday morning and decided we were going on a family sledding trip. I was a grump, but went along with it anyway. By the time we found a decent place and got a good trail worn down the kids got snow in their drawers and it was time to go. We had a great time, obviously. Poor Nate! .
