We spent Thanksgiving in St. George this year and had a great time hanging out with the fam, trekking to Vegas for Nate's extended family's Thanksgiving dinner, and helping out here and there with Nate's youngest sister's wedding. It was chaotic, we ate way too much junk food, and we all suffered from sleep deprivation, but it actually was a great time.

| We visited a Casino in Vegas that had a free aquarium. There were pumpkins in it (presumably seasonal). The kids were transfixed. |
 |
| We stayed at a hotel to give Nate's folks a little breathing room with all the wedding prep. It was so fun. The kids love hotels. One morning Nate braved the cold temperatures to take the kids out swimming. The heated pool apparently wasn't heated enough, so they hung out in the hot tub for most of the time. |

| Somehow Grandma made time to make a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner for everyone. |

| I am aware that this is the crummiest picture ever, but it's the only one I got on our camera of the wedding festivities. This is at Abbey and Devon's ring ceremony. The picture doesn't do them justice, but let me just tell you, they were workin' it. Abbey was gorgeous in her wedding dress. I loved that it was ivory. The reception was beautiful. Nate's Mom really pulled off a classy and elegant event. My favorite part was a Christmas tree that was decorated with white and clear ornaments and covered in baby's breath. It was so pretty! If I ever get my hands on any pictures I'll have to put one up. |
Somehow in the mix, our kids still got some quality Grandma and Grandpa time. Our kids are so lucky to have such attentive and loving grandparents. |
| Addison and Dayson, his only boy cousin on this side of the family, had fun getting their wiggles out in the backyard. |
 |
| Bryn caught up on some much-needed sleep in Grandma's bed. |
 |
| Bonus "cute baby" shot. |
 |
| And this year's "thankful tree." My sister Shauna made and laminated these cute little leaves and acorns so that we can reuse them year after year instead of making new ones every time. At the end of each day in November we each chose a leaf and wrote down something we are thankful for. Eggs, photosynthesis, toothbrushes, and family were a few of the blessings that hung on our tree this year. We truly have been blessed very richly and have a lot to be thankful for. |
