Bri Goes to the MTC

Today I dropped off my little sister Brianna at the Missionary Training Center in Provo. It is crazy to think that she's all grown up and being a missionary! I am so stinkin' excited to hear from her and see the miracles that happen because of this decision she's made. Here are pictures from the day we got to spend with her.
On Temple Square (as a result of Nate's shoe incident). Ain't she cute in her missionary clothes?

This is not the greatest picture of anyone (aka. Jenna is going to love it), but I wanted to show where we had our little picnic lunch right outside Nate's work. The view is pretty amazing.

Kneaders/Chick fil A = everyone was really happy.
Last night Bri and I ran out to do some last minute shopping and live it up at the Burger Bar. She had a radioactive milkshake.
This morning Leah helped Aunt Bri pack. Waterproof mascara comes off with baby wipes, fyi.

Today we had a picnic in a park in Provo just before time to report at the MTC. The kids had fun playing in the shade and on the playground while Bri said her goodbyes to Mom on the phone. Here she is enjoying her last 45 minutes or so before the work begins. (I picked the outfit. Don't you love the belt!?)

And here she is at the MTC! It is a well-oiled machine there. We were directed to just where we needed to go, and before we even had a chance to open the car door, the cute sister at the left had already done it, welcomed Bri in spanish, and started talking about how great the MTC is and how she's going to love it and asked about where she's going, etc. It was perfect. We said a slightly tearful goodbye, and she and the other sister were off, bags in tow.
I can't wait to see her in 18 months looking all tan and Amazonian and grown up!
