More Christmas Fun

Happy New Year everybody! I am looking forward to finishing up last year's blogging soon and starting in on 2014. It seems like high time to do a good old "family update" post. Life seems to have tripled in speed over the past month or so and blogging has fallen by the wayside a bit. But I hope we'll soon get back into a good routine and things can return to normal. Or as normal as they ever are, I suppose.

So here's some more Christmastime cuteness to start the ball rolling.

Twinners. I think they're so cute. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the matching shirts.

This picture completely cracks me up. We took about 25 trying to get a decent one, and believe me when I say, this is the best it got. This is of the Sunday before Christmas. I try to take one of these each year because I think our kids are so stinkin' cute in their Christmas get-up. I suppose the more kids you have, the more complicated that gets. And don't mind the piles of junk in the corners. That's the end of the weekend for you. I think Bryn looks a little like her Grammie in this one.

A visit to see our town's lights. I'm impressed every year. And it's made better by the fact that there's a giant bowl-shaped area in the center where the kids can run and play until they are too frozen to do it anymore. We've got a lot of pent-up winter wiggles going on around here.

Am I allowed to love this picture? Because I do.

Leah loved the lights. She couldn't stop staring.

Addison especially is really missing the warm summer days. That boy's got some energy. He and Bryn and Nate ran and threw snowballs at each other for a long time. It was Addison's personal mission to throw as many snowballs at Nate's behind as possible. Nate's drawers were soaked by the end.

The kids had a great time playing Santa in this sleigh.

And I hit the big 2-9 on Christmas Eve. Nate and the kids spoiled me rotten.
