Baseball in the park. A great exercise in sportsmanship, sweating and fun.
I love this little series of Bryn
The boy slid home. It wasn't actually on purpose.
Bryn and Juliann. These girls' mothers both have impeccable taste. They happened to have matching flip flops too. And ain't little Jackson cute?
So great to see Beck and Ben and their growing clan. Trevor's hair is so cool and Alexa's eyelashes are perpetually curled to perfection.
We really enjoyed all staying in the same room, believe it or not. Plenty of space for everyone and the kids did great together on the floor. Leah especially had fun gathering toys and books from around the house and planting herself on the floor of our room with her pile of goodies to go through.
Around the kitchen table.
I love these pictures of Grammie and Leah. They did a lot of bonding over this "dress the princess" book. A lot.
Chilling with Trevor in front of the tube.
Although you can't tell from this picture, Leah is the spitting image of yours truly. One of these days I'll post some side-by-side pics for comparison. Sometimes it's nice to hear that the kids (at least one of 'em) have a little me in them.
Leah and Trevor enjoying a book with Gramps.
Jackson is so fun and full of personality. One of the first things he said to me was after I commented on his cool bike. He made sure I was aware that it was actually a "motobike." And wow can he ride it. He is boy through and through.
Fishing with Trev
Game time with Uncle Ryan, king of all games.
Leah just lovin' it.
Getting serious about the study of animals with Gramps. I love this picture. The timing of our trip wasn't ideal. It's hard to time it just right when you're at the mercy of the airlines. Juliann and Ryan and Kaylyn started back to school while we were there and Gramps had a conference to attend, but I don't think we were wanting for quality time.
Addison, Brynny and Aunt Kaylyn.
Ryan and Addison. Addison believes (correctly) that Uncle Ryan is the coolest person on the planet.
Asa totally zonked out.
Kaylyn brushing her hair with a toothbrush, just like Asa.
Asa and Alexa snoozing at the park. I think they should've been twins because their names are so cute together. Just two months apart.
Bryn and Grammie birdwatching. Bryn was so excited to do this because she knows Grammie loves birds, just like her. Bryn was hoping to see a cardinal, because they don't live on our side of the mountains. I don't think she ever saw one, but I think she was enjoying Grammie's company too much to notice.
