Chopped

For a long time Bryn has been growing her hair out as long as Rapunzel. She's not tender headed, so I didn't mind at all, and she is good to sit still and let me experiment on her hair, which I think is fun. In January she announced that she was ready for short hair. I am a short hair kind of girl, so I jumped at the chance to find her a cute new do. We made an appointment for the following Saturday.

When the fateful morning arrived, our calm, quiet girl came totally unglued. She was screaming and crying and generally freaking out that she did not want to cut her hair. This went on for about an hour before the appointment. I think she was mostly nervous about showing up at school looking totally different. But we popped her in the car and went ahead with it anyway. By the time we got to the haircut place, she'd calmed down, and she hopped right in the chair as though nothing was wrong.

We went with an a-line bob and it is darling! She loves it and so do the rest of us.

Before

She had enough hair that she could donate it to Locks of Love, to be made into a wig for someone with a medical condition. Leah also got her hair trimmed, which she loves to do.

Isn't she so cute!? I think this hairstyle matches her personality.
