Happy Seven, Bryn

Bryn turned seven this year! She helped me with the cake on her big day and we had a fun time watching her open presents. Aunt Bri and Uncle Mason even came all the way up from Provo as a surprise, just in time to have birthday taco salad with us!








Bryn is into fairies right now and devours fairy books from the library. She loves to read and play the piano, ride her scooter and bike, and jump on the trampoline with her sister and brothers. She's a sweet girl that's easy to love. She is very anxious to get to be just a little older so she can participate in Activity Days at church.

    Happy birthday Bryn! I couldn't believe how much older she seemed at the wedding than she was a year ago. She's so cool!

Nate the daredevil

We had one more adventure last Saturday that Nate was too embarrassed to write about. Before our hiking excursion we went to Liberty Park to feed the ducks. Addison had a great time in his stroller soaking up some rays and watching the lake and the people and the birds. We tried hard to avoid the seagulls, which are gross if you've never had much contact with them, and to get to the two ducks that were around, but competition for that bread was pretty fierce, so Nate decided to make the geese work for it (since they're the only ones that would). The documented evidence makes me wonder who was working harder, though, and who was more scared. Must be those ferocious beaks or the powerful weapons they like to call webbed feet. Golden Parenting Moments

Several weeks ago, Nate woke up feeling gung-ho on a Saturday morning and decided we were going on a family sledding trip. I was a grump, but went along with it anyway. By the time we found a decent place and got a good trail worn down the kids got snow in their drawers and it was time to go. We had a great time, obviously. Poor Nate! .
