Summer Wrap-up

We had some mammoth crookneck squash plants in our garden.

We ate a lot of squash.

Nate and Addison ran the 5K at Clinton Heritage Days

So proud of my little guy running with all the grownups!

The girls ran the mile

The kids had fun with my button collection

Aunt Bri helped us can cherry jam.

The Primary did balloon animals at our ward picnic. Asa asked them to make him a pickle.

I think Rosie's walk is our family's favorite children's book. Especially when Daddy reads it with fun background music composed on the spot.

We went to the Riverdale trail with Kim, Isabel, and Ben to catch minnows. They actually got a few!
.

Love this lady.

We got to watch a really cool bike race go right by our neighborhood!

Trash day is always a highlight for Asa.

We loved getting visits from cousins and grandparents.

We buried our bird, Plow.

We went with Kim's family to the trout farm and caught our dinner!

Grandma bought a cotton candy machine.

We enjoyed each monthly installment of the Gramps and Grammie's News

Vegged out and read lots.

The kids had plenty of chances to get a little bored and go a little crazy.

A chicken, clearly.

This lunacy happened on one of those days. I think this video is so funny! Especially at the end when it looks like it's in fast motion, but it's not.

Asa conquered several spiderwebs.

Mmmmm. Peaches.

Nate and I celebrated 11 years of wedded bliss by spending a night in SLC at the Grand America.

The garden was very productive.

Addison's cabbage, Leo. It weighed over ten pounds!

We braved the crowds and drove to Rexburg with Grandma and Grandpa for the total solar eclipse! It was incredible!

Grandma masterminded these awesome shirts. I love this picture. So much sass!

And we got to see the Rexburg temple while we were there.

We were all relieved when the sun came back. Especially Bryn.
