Easter Weekend
Grandma and Grandpa came up and spent Easter with us this time around! We loved spending time with them. Over the course of the weekend, we participated in four egg hunts. Talk about candy overload!
On Saturday morning, Bryn got up at the crack of dawn, as she likes to do, and promptly ran up to our room to inform us that there was a bunny outside our window. Turns out someone had "egged" our culdesac! After reigning in a lot of excited kids for a couple hours, and much coordination with neighbors, all the kids ran like crazy through all the yards in the culdesac looking for eggs and had a blast doing it. So many eggs! And then a family at the end of the road just happened to have breakfast for everyone. What a cute idea. We'll have to remember that one for when our littles are less little.
After that, Grandma and Grandpa graciously watched the kids while Nate and I went to a baptism. Saturday was perfect weather, so after that, we spent most of the day outside.
And the pictures. My sister Shauna is so, so great at sewing. She has an Etsy shop and sells dresses for little girls, among other things. She outfitted our three girls for Easter and their dresses were so perfect! If you find yourself in the market for something along these lines, hit her up. Her shop is Lil' Angel Boutique.
We have some friends in the neighborhood who do a flashlight one every year.

So. Many. Eggs.

Addison had a pretty darn successful bake sale to start saving toward Scout Camp.
Emmie frolicked in the flower patch.
Nate and Grandpa dug out our poor dead burning bush. So sad about this one!
Saturday night we dyed eggs.
Church was just excellent. Nothing like celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ to fill my heart with gratitude.
Grandpa and the big girls walked home together.

Sunday was chilly and rainy, but we found a little window to do our little family Easter egg hunt with the boiled eggs.
Sunday afternoon and evening we had the Aarons over and had dinner and another egg hunt (by Grandma - this one was inside because of the rain) and just hung out.
