Emmie's First Birthday

Our little sweet pea baby is one! She is such a special part of our family and we all delight in watching her grow and learn how to do new things. 

She's been walking since about ten and a half months. 

She loves baby dolls.

Loves to hear singing and has some great dance moves.

Absolutely loves books.

Doesn't really like pancakes or watermelon.

Loves to be outside.

Favorite song is The Itsy Bitsy Spider, but really she likes it when we all sing, no matter what the song is.

Finally has four teeth! Only had two on her first birthday, though.

Nate and I are still looking forward to the day that she sleeps through the night. The anticipation is killing us. Or maybe that's the sleep deprivation.

Loves swimming and bath time.

Asa was so excited on the morning of her birthday. He ran upstairs in his jammies to tell me that he'd made a special place for Emmie to sit and he'd put all his stuffed animals on it for her to play with.

She got to video chat for the first time with Daddy while he was at work.

 Addison made her a shaker.

And took her to the sandbox to play. 

This girl rocks the stairs.

Followed by presents!

Leah made her a shaker.

And so did Bryn.

And blueberry cupcakes with blueberries on top.

She definitely enjoyed the cupcake. And the unicorn sparkle ice cream that she ate with them.
