Happy 10, Bryn!

I had a birthday! I am now 10 years old. We got up way early and biked 10 miles at Farmington Legacy Trail. Asa left his shoes at home. Oops!


 After that we had a waffle brunch.


                                           Asa bought me a delicious Hershey's with almonds bar.



It was baking outside, and we went to Classic Water Slides. It has 5 awesome slides. Minnow, Barracuda, Octopus, and Tidal Wave, and Mini Mountain.







For dinner we had alfredo ravioli with peas.


Finally after that we had presents! I got sunglasses, gum, a Google Home mini, a watch, a french memory board with pictures to go with it, a backpack, and a CD called the Whizpops. I also got a lifetime supply of  Barbie stuff.




 For dessert, we had dirt cake. I blew the candles out on my first try!


A few days later, we had my birthday interview.

    Yay Bryn! How appropriate, riding 10 miles on your 10th birthday! You are such a sweet girl, and so fun to talk to. We are so blessed to be a part of your family. Love you Brynny!

We had one more adventure last Saturday that Nate was too embarrassed to write about. Before our hiking excursion we went to Liberty Park to feed the ducks. Addison had a great time in his stroller soaking up some rays and watching the lake and the people and the birds. We tried hard to avoid the seagulls, which are gross if you've never had much contact with them, and to get to the two ducks that were around, but competition for that bread was pretty fierce, so Nate decided to make the geese work for it (since they're the only ones that would). The documented evidence makes me wonder who was working harder, though, and who was more scared. Must be those ferocious beaks or the powerful weapons they like to call webbed feet. Notice Addison's feet in the video where you can see them.

Golden Parenting Moments

Several weeks ago, Nate woke up feeling gung-ho on a Saturday morning and decided we were going on a family sledding trip. I was a grump, but went along with it anyway. By the time we found a decent place and got a good trail worn down the kids got snow in their drawers and it was time to go. We had a great time, obviously. Poor Nate! .
