Things I Loved on Our Trip to Georgia

Leah and I just got back last week from my Christmas trip to Georgia. The weather stunk for traveling, but other than that, it was absolutely wonderful. A huge thanks to Nate and his mom for taking care of the big kids while Leah and I ran away for the weekend.
I loved seeing my family and spending some good time with them. I loved the place. Georgia just feels so homey, and the temperatures were in the fifties! We played basketball and went for a walk outside! Definitely a far cry from home sweet arctic tundra. I loved showing Leah off and letting her have some one on one time with my family. Here are pictures from the trip.

Getting to spend some time outside was great. This is the leg-powered go cart.

Her house is just the same as it always was. The camellias were even blooming.

Shauna and Doug. I got to see their new house and I love it! Especially the backyard.

Grammie and Leah hung out a lot

Me and Mom and Granma J made robes for my kids. Don't judge me on the fabric choice. Addison's looks like it belongs to the devil himself. The kids picked their own fabric. And they adore them.

Not a bad sight to wake up to in our bedroom.
